Katie Holmes on Being in Love

ET has the latest...People reports that KATIE HOLMES opens up about being swept off her feet by her famous hubby TOM CRUISE in the new issue of InStyle. "It happened quickly, but I was certain it was what I wanted," she says in the upcoming January issue. "I never felt overwhelmed. I thought, 'Okay, good. Here we go.'"

And Katie says she still experiences those beginning-of-the-relationship flutters. "I still get like that, 'Whew,'" she says. "When you fall in love, it's as though time stops. It's all-encompassing."

Also all-encompassing? Being a mother to 19-month-old daughter SURI. "She loves coloring and creating," Katie says. "She's a great mimic and dancer. She came to the photo shoot yesterday and was into all the shoes. I'm mostly shocked at how quickly she grows."
