A TV classic goes to the big screen.
'Superbad' star JONAH HILL is in talks to develop, star and executive produce a movie version of '21 Jump Street,' Variety reports.
The actor is a departure from the likes of JOHNNY DEPP, who rose to fame playing an undercover cop posing as a high school student in TV series, which ran from 1987-1991.
Best known for his comedic turns in JUDD APATOW films -- he also appeared in 'The 40 Year Old Virgin' and 'Knocked Up' -- this will be Jonah's first opportunity to write and produce a feature.
