Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have been rumored to be engaged, but it seems the couple isn't taking one step forward, but two steps back.
According to pals of both, the two recently reunited actors have called it quits on round two.
A friend of Owen said, "It was a pretty bad breakup. Owen said it was a tough one. He definitely doesn't want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him." And it looks like he already has, going out two nights in a row in New York and sweet-talking multiple ladies.
Kate has been spotted out in Boston, and according to her friend, "She feels dumb thinking it was so serious."
Why wouldn't she think it was serious? Kate broke up with Dax Shepard to get back together with Owen, who was so distraught last time they broke things off that he attempted suicide.
Owen must have had a big change of heart, considering he once decided life wasn't worth living without Kate -- or at least her rejection.
Good thing. She deserves better.
