Jessica Simpon picks up lunch at Good Earth Cafe in the San Fernando Valley, Studio City on Friday afternoon.
The 27-year-old aspiring country singer, her father Joe Simpson and brother-in-law Pete Wentz of Fallout Boy are among the VIPs expected for Saturday's grand opening of Palms Place.
Pete, who recently married Jessica's younger sister, Ashlee, will be doing a set during the evening.
Also expected to attend: The Hills co-stars Lauren Conrad and Lauren 'Lo' Bosworth, Luke Wilson, Eve, Lisa Rinna, Harry Hamlin, Donald Faison and Ian Ziering.
