Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Meet at the Museum

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden enjoy a day out shopping and visiting the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Tuesday.

Nicole, 26, has been getting ready for the autumn launch of House of Harlow, a jewelry range that will grow into a collection of children's wear and accessories.

At Sunday night's taping of the TV Land Awards, Nicole's dad Lionel Richie, accepted the 'Icon' honor and joked about raising his daughter.

'Forget about surviving 40 years in the music business, just surviving 27 years of Nicole Richie has been a struggle-and-a-half, I want to tell you. I stand here as a survivor, I want you to know, for all the parents out there.'
