Hollywood Walk Of Fame To Honor Downey, Kingsley, Burton, Everyone Else

The next batch of celebrities to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was announced today. This BBC article has the full list of stars — note the intentional dropoff in legitimacy from paragraph to paragraph, particularly between paragraphs 2 and 3:

Actors Robert Downey Jr, Ralph Fiennes, and Sir Ben Kingsley have been announced as the latest recipients of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Disco band The Village People, Peter Pan character Tinker Bell, singer Shakira and Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman are also included.

Also receiving stars were Elizabeth Berkley, Donnie Wahlberg, Telly from 'Sesame Street' and Lou Bega.

Not to be left out, stars will also be given to Apple Paltrow, Steve Urkel's Urkelbot, Post-1992 Van Damme, the lead singer from OMC, and the crossroads from the end of the movie 'Cast Away.'

Topping the list of people set to receive stars in 2010 are Jamie Kennedy, an animation cell from 'Shark Tale,' Captain Needa from 'Empire,' Charles Nelson Reilly's glasses, Messina, the rain from 'Hard Rain,' and Kevin Costner.
