Ta-da! Here's the red carpet for last night's BET Awards. Luckily for everybody involved, it wasn't nearly as sweltering as it was over the weekend, or I'm sure all we'd be showing you would be pictures of colorful dresses and melted lipstick puddles.
Rihanna looked adorable in a pastel, frothy dress. Lately, she's been rocking such a confusing look that mixes hard-edge dominatrix/military shit and hints of frou-frou. I love this light yellow gown because it's way more age-appropriate and because it looks like a yellow birthday cake and I can always find room for cake.
Her boy Chris Brown looked all serious in his favorite style of jacket (military), but it doesn't look as if these two walked the red carpet together. Or at least I couldn't see pictures of them doing it. Either way, it's no secret they're dating.
Jordin Sparks looked quite sweet, with her daring little red streaks in her hair. I want to say that Lil Mama was dressed cute, in her take on the Strawberry Shortcake look that she had going on mostly because at least she's keeping it youthful, but I'm torn. There's just too much going on for me to focus.
Also, I'm highly amused that sometimes, the photo agency from where we got these pix sometimes lists "Buckeey" from Flavor of Love as a "sing...
