Hello to our delightful Socialite Life readers! Have we told you lately how much we love and cherish you? I'm here to talk to you today about recaps. Yes, I've been known to write a few here and there.
Why? Because nothing makes me happier than summing up a really, really ridiculous program for our faithful reader contingent so that they don't have to take time out of their own busy child-raising, studying, drinking, drug-taking, child-beating, killing, macrameing, glass-blowing, Nascar racing schedules to watch for themselves. I get all that done at night anyway.
Hopefully I have actually IMPROVED these programs for viewers by pointing out their foibles (Dina Lohan), the crazy ass people on them (Dina Lohan), the terrible writing (cat face Dina Lohan), and the absolute UNnecessity of some of these programs existing (Dina Lohan).
Which brings us to SL's sister site, Recapist. Cant get enough recaps? There's a whole SITE for them! And it's just chock-full of what happened when your DVR broke and you missed Patrick Dempsey bitch-slapping Ellen Pompeo or whatever. Check out some of the awesome writers over there!
Oh, and I will be recapping Bravo's Shear Genius (battling hairdressers, I'm so ready) for Recapist starting on Thursdays! There will be a teaser for my recaps here on Socialite Life with a link to the actual recap over on Recapist!
And if you've been having problems finding my recaps due to our slick new redesign, never fear. The problem is being worked on, but in the meantime - merely type "recaps" into our search engine, click the magnifying glass, and you should be rewarded with a lot of snarky J. Harvey.
