Paris Hilton told Larry King when she was released from prison last year that she wanted "to help raise money for kids and for breast cancer and multiple sclerosis."
Well, looks like she's living up to one of those promises!
According to new reports, hospital officials say Paris made an "extremely generous" donation toward the construction of a medical building at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
The exact amount was not revealed.
In a statement the socialite said, "The children I have met through my involvement with Childrens Hospital have truly touched my heart. I am proud to make a donation and lend my name to the fundraising effort to help children who are facing terribly serious illnesses."
The 460,000-square-foot Childrens Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases is expected to open in 2010.
