Scottish actor Kevin McKidd, who headlined the time-traveling drama Journeyman, is close to signing onto the ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy.
According to EW, McKidd, 34, will play a doctor who arrives at Seattle Grace after a stint in Iraq.
In other Grey's news, according to E!, T.R. Knight, Katherine Heigl and Ellen Pompeo were spotted eating cupcakes and laughing during marketing impresarios Mike McGuiness and Kari Feinstein's birthday party at Simon L.A.
