Jimmy Kimmel Broken Up Over Break Up

This is just getting sadder and sadder.

Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman announced earlier in the week that they had ended their five-year relationship. Now, Howard Stern, who is a good friend of the ex-couple, is revealing that Jimmy is pretty messed up over the split. On his radio show he said he had plans to vacation with Sarah and Jimmy this week, but they didn't show up.

"Jimmy e-mailed me and said they were going through some tough times," Howard said. "I was so upset I had to go take a walk."

The shock jock said that Jimmy called the break up "mutual," adding that he felt like he had "lost his best friend."

They really did seem like they were best friends and had an awesome time together. Maybe they'll work it out...
