As we've previously mentioned, Jimmy Fallon will be taking over for Conan O'Brien on Late Night when ginger locks takes the late night top spot from Jay Leno.
Well, the producer of Late Night, Lorne Michaels (who also heads up Saturday Night Live too), wants Jimmy to "to work out as many of the rough spots in his presentation" online before the big dance, according to the New York Times.
The web performances will likely begin in the fall, long before the transition in '09.
The online videos probably won't be anything like an entire hour-long show.
Michaels said, I expect that we'll do something like 5 or 10 minutes.'
He went on to say Jimmy most likely will be on every night, to try to establish the rhythm of a nightly show, I'm going to post them at 12:30 every night, so people will begin to look for Jimmy at that time.'
Hey, Jimmy/Lorne…he can try his stuff out on Perez TV!
