-Quentin Tarantino is remaking Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! and wants to have Britney Spears play the pivotal role in the film. If anyone knows how to help a floundering star with a comeback, it's Tarantino. But let's see if she can translate her moderate small screen success onto the big one. She is looking good, though.
-Bette Midler isn't a fan of MTV. She told the crowd at her Vegas show Showgirl Must Go On and lamented the lack of relationship between performers and their audience. The Divine Miss M said, "They don't tell stories or take the time to make a connection, build a rapport. There's no emotion." Next thing you know, she'll be expecting them to actually sing.
-The investigation into Heath Ledger's death has officially been closed and Mary-Kate Olsen's subpoena will not be enforced. Those trolls sure are slippery ones...
