Sarah Jessica Parker in feud with Kim Cattrall over confirming SATC sequel

Last week Kim Cattrall confirmed that a sequel to the successful Sex and The City movie was in the works and that it would start filming this summer. The 52 year-old actress spilled the beans during an interview on a British talkshow when she was directly asked about it. Cattrall also hinted that her relationship with much younger chef Alan Wyse had run its course.

Cattrall's costar Sarah Jessica Parker is said to be fuming that she so casually revealed their plans for a sequel and said she may not even go ahead with it unless Cattrall shuts up fast. Parker considers herself the star of the show and is upset that Cattrall made the announcement without consulting her and before all the details were worked out:

When asked to comment on Kim's announcement, Sarah observed acidly: 'I'm thrilled to know that Kim is excited, but all the deals are not yet done.'

A source close to the film project added: 'Kim did jump the gun. It enraged Sarah because in her mind, she's the real star, and if any announcements are to be made, she feels they should come from her!'

Cattrall calls Parker a b*tch
Kim thought their long-running feud was behinf them, 'so when she heard about Sarah Jessica's latest put-down, all she could say was ‘What a bitch! Some people never change!'' said the source…

'Now Sarah is making noices about backing out of the sequel if Kim isn't muzzled, and it's giving creator Darren Star a major headache!' said the source.

These two will work it out for the sake of the biggest moneymaker they both have going for the rest of their lives and they'll make another sequel. It will probably be less plausible and spread thinner than the last one but the public will eat it up because we love these ladies and want to know what happens in their foolish lives. Maybe they should take Sarah and Kim's feud onto the big screen and have their characters fight a little bit in the next installment. That's one plot point that would definitely ring true.

And I hope Carrie finally tells Mr. Big Wuss to take a hike. That character is such a jerk.
