Best And Worst Makeup Of 2008

In 2008, some stars shined, others had lipstick on their teeth, and some had major mascara malfunctions (ahem, Lauren Conrad!), but no matter what the situation was, X17 was there snapping their picture. We sat down and sorted through some of our favorite photos this year, and these six ladies have made it into our most memorable makeup moments of 2008. Congrats girls! Well, some of you, anyway. Kate Beckinsale always looks lovely, but we think her eyes are especially mesmerizing - her makeup is done just right, and we think a lot of gals in Hollywood could take notes from her. Katie Price on the other hand - not so much! Katie seems to think that showgirl-style fake eyelashes and clumpy mascara are the way to go, and until she changes her mind, we'll continue to give her a virtual bitch slap on our blog! Anne Hathaway has the perfect pout, and she slicks her lips with pretty, neutral shades of gloss that always look fabulous. Of course, Courtney Love is famous for rockin' the darker shades, but she may want to spend more time putting the lip color on her mouth rather than around it - she looks a little Joker-esque at times, and quite frankly, it scares us! Natalie Portman takes home the best everything award because she knows that less is more, and she wears just enough makeup to look glam, but not so much that she looks trashy. Trashy is often the first word we think of when we see Christina Aguilera - whether she's on the red carpet or out on the town, she often applies more makeup than RuPaul, and sometimes she makes Courtney Love and Shauna Sand look like natural beauties. Don't get me wrong, I loooove me some Xtina, but sometimes I want to douse her in a bucket of makeup remover and and scrub her clean with a Scotch Brite sponge! Anyone we missed?
