Don't Stop Believing Just Yet

Another week, another audition. Last night's judges table had an odd format change, reversing the order of the judges, making Simon first and Randy last. It was an odd format change. I hope they have bigger surprises in the works.

Last night our catty quartet crash landed in Jacksonville, Fla., where 12,000 singers showed up with the exact same dream - to be the next David Cook. Sadly, the flashback to Randy playing for Journey (below) was the best performance I've seen so far.



Moving on to a few of the contestants that walked out with a golden ticket and high hopes for Hollywood Week:

Sharon Wilbur, 25, from Jacksonville (the girl with the "dawg") was pitifully bad, but the judges let her through. Check out her "single" here or watch her YouTube channel- total industry plant, we think.

Julissa Veloz, 19, Orlando, wants to be the first "Latin American Idol" but she is already a Ford Model. There's not much on her Facebook page, but here is a video of her performing with the most unruly curly hair I've ever seen.
