See LeAnn Rimes, Jessica Simpson Try to Act Sexy in Basketball Gear

LeAnn Rimes and Jessica Simpson seemed to put the past behind them on the set of their promo ad for the Academy of Country Music Awards. The two country singers crossed paths years ago, when Simpson was dating Days of Our Lives star Jensen Ackles until he apparently cheated on her with Rimes. (Simpson mentioned that it was her "first heartbreak" on a 2004 episode of her reality show, Newlyweds.) See photos of the worst dressed country stars. But while shooting the promo video -- which spoofs the NCAA Final Four basketball tournament -- on Feb. 11, the two goofed around while getting glam alongside fellow singers Kellie Pickler and Julianne Hough. "Jessica has a mouth guard, and I have an arm band," Rimes says. "It's really hysterical to see us try to walk and be sexy with all this basketball gear on!" Check out photos of Jessica Simpson's body through the years. In the video, Simpson approaches Rimes, saying, "This is gonna be a big weekend!" Rimes responds: "I know! We better start planning." The ACM Awards, which broadcast the same weekend as the Final Four, will air live on Sunday, April 5 at 8 p.m. EST.
