Julianne Hough Wins ACM Award, Rips Dress

Country music star and "Dancing with the Stars" performer Julianne Hough ripped her Zuhair Murad dress as she took the stage of the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards -- but the excitement didn't stop there!


"It's a good thing I ripped my dress because now I have something else to think about," an overwhelmed and tearful Julianne told the audience as she accepted her award for Top New Artist.

Taylor Swift also had an exciting night performing twice, once with Brooks & Dunn in the opening of the show and reappearing another time in a David Copperfield illusion, of which she sang afterward. Taylor was then presented with an award from ACM host Reba McEntire for selling the most country music albums for 2008.
