Pierce Brosnan Is Uma Thurman's Secret Agent Man

Pierce Brosnan forgot what movie he was shooting, went all James Bond and rescued Uma Thurman from a runaway van while shooting Percy Jackson.

The actors were filming on location when the actor spotted the vehicle careening towards his co-star, The Sydney Morning Herald reports.

A witness said:
"No one was aboard the runaway van as it barrelled towards a grassy area where Uma was relaxing with cast and crew.  Pierce yelled 'Get out of the way!'  He raced after the van, wrenched open the driver's side door, jumped in and slammed on the brakes."

The vehicle hit a curb, crashed into several rubbish bins and sent the cast and crew scurrying in numerous directions before Brosnan brought it to a halt.

Maybe he wants his Bond job back.
