And the Emmy Nominees in Reality TV Categories Are…

The 2009 Emmy nominations have been announced!  It's always so exciting to find out which reality shows have been nominated for the golden statue -- even though The Amazing Race ends up winning every single year.  And we can't forget about the Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Reality-Competition Program category, which was was added to the Emmy program just last year. Survivor host Jeff Probst became the first reality TV host to win the award, eliminating Ryan Seacrest, Tom Bergeron, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel. Turns out last year's losers were given another chance for to take home the trophy this year -- all except for Howie Mandel. The Deal or No Deal host is not nominated this time (No deal!). However, three other reality TV hosts who were shut out last year now have a shot at Emmy glory! (Hint: Two of these newly nominated hosts will add a little flavor to the category.)
