Chandra Wilson crosses over to 'Private Practice'

Private Practice creator Shonda Rhimes is a notorious spoiler-phobe, but with a busload of reporters visiting the set Tuesday, she did let loose with a little bit of scoop on the upcoming season.Greys Anatomy star Chandra Wilson will cross over to Private Practice in the seasons third episode, Rhimes said during the set visit. Miranda Bailey will travel to L.A. to visit her former colleague Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh) and perform a very interesting medical procedure, Rhimes says.Bailey being Bailey, shell also not be shy about sharing her opinions about the goings-on at Oceanside Wellness, Rhimes adds.The crossover will continue the relatively free movement of characters between Greys and its spinoff. Walsh has appeared on several episodes of Greys Anatomy the past couple seasons, and last spring Patrick Dempseys Derek Shepherd guested on Practice.The new season will pick up only a few minutes after last seasons finale, which ended with off-her-meds patient Katie (Amanda Foreman)...
