Carey Mulligan Gets An Education

Carey Mulligan struts her stuff as she walks the red carpet with co-stars Peter Sarsgaard and Maggie Gyllenhaal at the premiere of An Education at New York City's Hudson Union Society on Monday (October 5).

The 24-year-old girlfriend of Shia LaBeouf, who plays 16-year-old Jenny, was recently awarded the Hollywood Breakthrough Actress Award at the Hollywood Film Festival for her work in An Education.

There's also been Oscar buzz about her work, but Carey told reporters at the movie's Hollywood premiere, 'It's kind of too mad a concept to consider but if it makes more people go and see the film then that's wonderful.'
