Michelle Obama Visits The Veteran's Administration

Michelle Obama speaks at the James J. Peters Veterans Administration Medical Center in New York City on Wednesday (October 28).

The First Lady visited the veterans along with Dr. Jill Biden, the wife of the vice president, before the World Series Game 1 match-up between the NY Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies. They came in support of Major League Baseball's Welcome Back Veterans initiative that helps U.S. military personnel and their families.

Obama and Biden accompanied Yankee great and D-Day veteran Yogi Berra to the mound as a wounded veteran threw out the first pitch.
