Amanda Peet's Smart-Ass Intruder!

As a burglar crept into the apartment of Amanda Peet on Tuesday, her assistant received quite the greeting!

Peet's employee, Michelle Werner arrived at the actress' Duane Street loft at 11 a.m. to find a stranger in her midst holding a jewelry box.

And his response when discovered?!

"What's up, bitch? I live here," he exclaimed.

The thief got away with the box, valued at $900, and is thought to have entered the residence through the skylight.

Thankfully, all Werner received was a little bit of sass - she was not injured!

We would have peed ourselves!
