Man Charged with Stalking Ryan Seacrest

Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. is charged with stalking the radio and TV host between Sept. 15 and Oct. 30, a felony, and is also charged with two misdemeanor counts of attempted disobeying a court order on Oct. 2 and Oct. 30, says Deputy District Wendy Segall with the Stalking and Threat Assessment Team. In September, he pleaded guilty to attacking Seacrest's security guard outside of an Orange County hospital and was ordered to keep his distance from the radio and TV host.

Uzomah was arrested Friday at the Los Angeles building where Seacrest tapes a daily TV show. He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at the Criminal Justice Center. If convicted, he faces up to four years in state prison.
