Leighton Meester & Cyndi Lauper: Woodie Award Women

Leighton Meester and pop icon Cyndi Lauper hit the stage at the 2009 mtvU Woodie Awards on Wednesday (November 18) to present the award for Woodie of the Year.

The 23-year old Gossip Girl actress opened the envelope and announced that Kings of Leon took home the top award! Although the band wasn't in attendance, we're sure they're honored.

Other nominees for Woodie of the Year included Asher Roth, Drake, MGMT and Silversun Pickups.
