In the interview, Janet Jackson tells Robin Roberts that the Jackson family tried to have an intervention for Michael but, ultimately, the attempt was unsuccessful.

Jackson said of the Michael intervention, 'You can lead them to water, but you can't force them to drink. It's up to them to take control.'
