All of those movies are on my list Todd. I did go see "The Wrestler" with Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei. To me it was ok but my hubby LOVES it.

I saw Milk since it just came to this area. Extremely impressed by it, both content wise and acting/filming wise.

My roommates saw Button and said it was very solid. I'll try to see it soon since it's getting so much oscar buzz

Agree about Milk, we saw that one as well. Excellent, esp Sean Penn.

We saw Twilight recently (though I guess it's not *technically* new anymore... but I really wanted to see what all the hubbub was about), and that was honestly the worst film I've ever seen.

Thanks, Twilight, for trumping Howard the Duck.

My sister who is OBSESSED with Twilight crap even thought that the movie was horrid, but it was made tolerable because of her affection for the story line.

Thai, ummmm, I think we were cut from the same cloth. I have a fervent disdain for Howard the Duck. My piece to be considered for the Iowa Writers Workshop was called "I may be bitter, but I don't hold a grudge" Subtitled: "Fuck you Howard the Duck".
I wonder where that story is...

Wow, Howard the Duck is probably #1 on my worst movies list..I'm surprised to hear Twilight was that bad!!!

We saw Benjamin Button tonight, good movie! The story was so unique and they did a great job with it. I was so curious to see how they would do it and I was pleasantly surprised. Such an amazing job with the make up too.

i saw gran torino last week dragged by the men and if you don't mind racial humor it was really really good. i had no idea what it was about so it was all a surprise to me. i laughed i cried blah blah blah. for some reason we never go to the movies so i was excited anyways. I heard Button was awesome too but the other girl had already seen it and even though she said she would again the men won no movie selection.

Um, since I am a mommy- I just saw Bedtime Stories. It was as funny as I though. Button on my list. I saw The Day the Earth Stood Still, only because it was the ONLY movie playing at the time. I did not like the ending at all. I thought the whole "message" of the movie was good, but the ending blew it for me. Booo. I love Keanu though. mmmmm....

saw Marley and Me and cried...great story.

also saw I Am Legend on DVD and it freaked me out. My 15 year old loved it. Scared the crap out of me.

    WTG Grand!

No movies here. Kinda hard to drag a 5 year old and a 6 month old into a theater full of people in good conscious... There is no way they would stay quiet for 2 hours.

When we lived in FL we had an awesome drive in theater, which was great with kids since they could be pretty loud and not bother anyone.

Benjamin Button is nominated for 5 different awards at the Golden Globes next Sun. It totally deserves the recognition and I hope it wins something :)

Thanks sydney... my son has been asking me for days to see the "mouse" movie, but I thought it would be kind of lame, especially with Ratatouille being made first. I think I shall take him this weekend!
