While the video is still up, no doubt the best skit of the entire show...here is the
Doogie Howser digital short

Thoughts on the episode?

LAWD the show went to shyt without Fey & Poehler...the writing was so weak considering who the host was! IMO the digital short made the show worth it for me, but all around it just sucked as much as Andy. Really REALLY disappointed there was no HIMYM skit...wtf was up with that! Or even a Speidi/Neil skit, considering how unhappy he was after Britney's cameos. Whoever wrote the Beyonce/JT episode was definietly needed this week...when will this show go off the friggin air?!?!?

I only saw a lil bit but i saw the digital short and was laughing so hard and then had the Doogie hoswer song in my head the next day.
i didn't see anything else that stood out but prob saw 3 or 4 skits. and taylor swift did not sound good to me live.

NPH is awesome, no doubt about it. But SNL is just going to fail w/o Fey & Poe like Toni said.

No one host can save that show now.

hahahaha he killed Mark...the broadway skit made me watch rent yesterday lmaooooo

BUT after watching and complaing about the lack of Fey convinced DH to watch seasons 1 and 20 of 30rock on the xbox courtesy of netflix *sigh* I LOVE Netflix...hahaha viva la 30 rock (seriously, perhaps its time for a G-A-M-E)

Fey hasn't been a regular in a long time, couple years now?

Anyways,, i havent seen much except a 5 second Orchestra clip Mike had on, which looked amazing. I had heard a lot about his (NPH) Dr. Horrible Sing-a-long Blog, which i saw a few eps of. Hilarious, of course.

From what i can tell, he is an aspiring super villian, who then blogs about his conquests. Also the girl of his dreams is dating his douchey arch-rival Mr. Hammer

One line from mr. hammer to NPH
Hammer: I'm gonna show her the real hammer...

walks away. comes back...

Hammer: The hammer is my dick.

Joy, we're not friends on there, are we?

Todd: It's been may 2-3 yrs, Lorne and Tina agreed she shoudl leave to work on 30 rock 100%, which apparently was the best thing Tina did for her career after Mean Girls (lmao I'm a cool mom)...but SNL still had Amy as head writer. Now without either of them, its worse than I could ever have imagined lmao. The hammer is my dick LMAOOOOOOOOOOO

Dr. Horrible is awesome.

I only liked a few skits of SNL. I am so happy I DVR it so I can just fast forward through the garbage.
I sometimes wonder if my friends and I could write better skits in our sleep.

Toni-my husband is the one who has the netflix acct and i don't really know much about it, except I love getting all the discs mailed to us and being able to return whenever we want :)

Oh man, the Today Show skit they did was HILARIOUS. Kristen Wiig nailed Kathie Lee. I'm so bummed because I was going to try to remember to watch the Today Show on Monday to see if Kathie Lee talked about it, but completely forgot. Anyone notice if they brought it up?

Kristen Wiig is my favorite person. I could watch her character skits over and over... Target lady, Suze Orman, Sue (the one who loves surprises), Penelope.... and now Kathie Lee!!!

My favorite skit with her in it was the Laurence Welk skit with Anna Hathaway where she had baby hands.

Baby hands is the BEST.

Whoa, I just caught the first few minutes of the last hour of the Today Show, and Kathie Lee said that Kristen Wiig sent her flowers, thanking her for being a good sport and said she's a huge fan of the show. Classy!
