I KNEW Heath was gonna create a backlash for the film, but Heath still got the Best Supporting nod, Jen....his acting as the Joker deserves the Oscar IMO but I liked the Dark Knight less than Batman Returns...I dunno its like they tried to cram way too much comic book into one movie.

Benjamin Button is the best movie I've seen in quite a while, hands down I say give Brad an Oscar already...he was robbed for Babel dammit!

I dunno Sunny, I thought Heath's performance in Batman was really good, despite my unpopular opinion that the movie itself was really not that great. And I do think a lot of younger moviegoers might only know him as the cowboy, but c'mon... Knight's Tale? Lords of Dogtown? 10 Things?? The Patriot? I wish Heath could have still been in some pretty awesome roles.

I thought his performance in DK was exceptional and I'd hope if he was still alive he'd still get nominated. May he RIP. I love pretty much every movie I've seen him in and it's such a shame we lost him.

My faves of his are 10 Things I Hate About You, Lords of Dogtown (AWESOME flick), Candy, and The Dark Knight. I've also seen The Patriot and thought it was pretty good.

I haven't seen all of Knight's Tale but I liked what I saw in that too.

I feel like while yes he was great as the joker, what does giving him an oscar do? It takes it away from someone who would be able to enjoy it for their hard work.

If he wins they should roll his body onstage on a cart like they had in Silence of the Lambs and let that ventriloquist dude, Jeff Dunham, give the acceptance speech. I think that would be pretty cool.

And Benjamin Button was not that good, too long and slow, Slumdog will win best movie. Brad deserves an Oscar, but not for this movie.

Slumdog should win. Button was interesting and visually amazing, it was overall really good,, but Slumdog was way better.

Did Slumdog have a full opening nationwide? I am not a fan of movies that do not have a full release winning oscars..I think that sucks, also considering every memeber of the academy sees all the films where most normal people may not.

I will admit, I did not want to se Slumdog until I saw a commerical the other day and the Who wants to be a Millionaire stage...
