[Inserting myself into High School mind set]

Now riddle me this...
If you were in HS and Dakota Fanning was in the running for Homecoming Queen, would you actually vote for her?

I can't imagine she's A)actually EVER in school and that B) all the girls are super jealous of her.
It's actually surprising she won. I would think she'd be one of the most picked on kids at school.

Maybe she rigged it and told the whole school if they were nice they would get an advanced screening of New Moon. Bribery!

I am sorry is she a cheerleader?
If she is actually there, I would bet that people want to be friends with her because she is "famous" I would also think that there would be a big counter-culture against her.
Unless she isnt as snotty and pretentious.... or puts out.

Ummm, how does she have time to be a cheerleader? Unless she is given special conciderations and allowed to miss lots of practices and games. How would she have the time?

I bet the whole thing was staged to make it seem like she lives life like a regular teenage kid...unless she goes to one of those "everyone is aspiring to be actors" schools where every class centers around improv or theater.

Why would she have the luxury of only going to school 2 months out of the year? I am pretty sure the other kids at the school would be pretty upset about her privelages and would have definitely not voted her for anything...unless she is paying them or giving some kind of favors.

That's the only thing I can think of.

And besides aslong as she doesn't blow all her money on drugs she doesn't need high school anyway.

She's got tons of money and a lot of life and prospects ahead of her. I don't think she will need that fall back plan if things don't work out for her.

I think it's sweet!
She always looks so happy and genuine in those cheerleader paparazzi pictures. She must be in school more than we'd think, because being on a HS sports team is a big commitment...
