Blech? Despise? I sense you are not 30 Rock fans?

I would have rather seen him host with Tina Fey. I love, love, love them together! -

OhNo- agree. I like Alec and I think he and Tina would've made excellent hosts. -
I could easily do without Steve Martin. Baldwin I'm on board with though

The best thing Steve Martin ever did was write and star in Shopgirl (one of my favorite movies of all time). -
I have a not-secret-anymore crush on both. I think they're both dreamy.
I love Steve Martin's statement. I can't find the direct quote, but he said something like, "I am excited to host the Oscars with my enemy, Alec Baldwin." -

Thai, the direct quote is directly above you. Dang, for a second I thought you were Toni and too high to read. Bwaaahahahhahahhaha. -
EL OH EL!

I love Steve Martin. He is one rich SOB too. -

I think the best thing Steve Martin has ever done was star in "The Jerk".
"Lord loves a workin' man; don't trust whitey; see a doctor and get rid of it."
Other than that, not really a big fan. -

And that's it and that's the only thing I need, is this. I don't need this or this. Just this ashtray. And this paddle game, the ashtray and the paddle game and that's all I need. And this remote control. The ashtray, the paddle game, and the remote control, and that's all I need. And these matches. The ashtray, and these matches, and the remote control and the paddle ball. And this lamp. The ashtray, this paddle game and the remote control and the lamp and that's all I need. And that's all I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one - I need this. The paddle game, and the chair, and the remote control, and the matches, for sure. And this. And that's all I need. The ashtray, the remote control, the paddle game, this magazine and the chair. -

OMG how can you NOT like Roxanne?
"I, uh, notice you don't have any tattoos. I think that's a wise choice. I don't think Jackie Onassis would've gone as far if she'd have had an anchor on her arm. " -
I always think i'm over Steve Martin being funny,, and then i'll see him in something (aka guest star on 30 Rock. all comes back to 30 rock i guess) and he redeems himself.
no, i haven't seen the pink panther movies -

I wasn't really a fan of Roxanne. I did like All of Me though, left that one out earlier. -

OMG the guest spot on 30 Rock was awesome!
I had a professor in college who was obsessed with LA Story... mind you I went to college in England. Silly Lymie professor. -
Posted 2 weeks ago by MollWillGiveYaTerribleThrillsI am a fan.
C'mon... his days on SNL- King Tut....
Two Wild and Crazy Guys?
Awesome.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
The Jerk
Dude is quality.
Nuff Said.
Baldwins career really got re-amped with 30 Rock. I mean I thought he would have piqued with Swetty Balls. -
I'll give ya DRS. And what about Planes, Trains & Automobiles? But The Jerk? Ouch. That movie makes me want to punch somebody. Absolute crap.

Don't forget Alec's stint as Mr Conductor on Thomas the Tank Engine... Quality stuff... -
Posted 2 weeks ago by MollWillGiveYaTerribleThrillsNutters... what's not to like. He was born a poor black man and apparently someone had some violently ill will towards the oil cans.
He plays daft well. -
Can't do it. I've even tried watching it budded up. Terrible attempt at humor in my opinion. Just like Austin Powers. Bleh....

Breaking with tradition, a pair of hosts -- Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin -- will serve as co-hosts of the 82nd Academy Awards, Oscar telecast producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman announced today.
“We think the team of Steve and Alec are the perfect pair of hosts for the Oscars,” said Shankman and Mechanic. “Steve will bring the experience of having hosted the show in the past and Alec will be a completely fresh personality for this event.”
“I am happy to co-host the Oscars with my enemy Alec Baldwin,” said Martin.
Martin hosted the 73rd and 75th Academy Awards shows, earning an Emmy nomination for the first stint.
The Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood and televised live on ABC.
