This story is timely because of the Oprah talk in the other thread Scotty started. I've always liked Oprah, but when I was watching this last night I was SO mad when Charla said that she didn't want to remember the attack, that doctors would drug her if she started to have flashbacks, and yet Oprah started FILLING HER IN on what happened to her. She even told her that the chimp was EATING HER. Hello!! I was seriously outraged that Oprah was filling in the details!

Otherwise, I felt it was a brave move for Charla to go on TV so as to reveal her wounds herself instead of photographers in public out to make a buck for breaking the pictures. I thought she was inspiring.

i gotta agree. Why this woman decided to go on Oprah versus an actual journalistic outlet, I'll never know.

Andy,maybe the crazy ass owner had it on drugs cause she was real,ummm,friendly with him(get my drift)By the way when i was a kid i found a monkey and they make shitty pets.I was living in my home state of oregon and we were country folk,ie poor white trash,lol.Anyways one day making the big trip to town to grocery shop i told my mom i saw a monkey.I was 5 or 6 and she didn't believe me.Anyways i kept saying i saw a monkey.I had her buy bananas at the store and begged her to stop so i could feed the monkey.I was always making shit up as a kid and she said"i'm gonna stop and when there is no monkey ur getting ur butt spanked"So i asked if there was 1 could i keep it and she sure knowing there'd be no way a monkey would be in the Oregon country side.Cut to me getting out of the car banana in hand calling the monkey and a monkey running over and grabbing the nana from my hand.My mom almost shit and it climbed up on my shoulders and i got in the car.it was a cappuchin i think and we kept it while she ran an ad.2 days of owning it and i begged her to get rid of it.They are nasty lil fuckers.They throw shit and masturbate constantly.We found it a home and that was my monkey story,lol.
