Dresses so far

    I have to say that for the most part the dresses have been underwhelming. I love the color of Jessica Alba's and the feather flourish, but the rest of it was pretty plain. I also liked the neck detail on Cate Blanchette's but otherwise a very plain dress. Everyone seems to be playing it super safe, and I'm kind of snoring over here.

    My fave from last year was penelope cruz's...that was FABU! Nothing near that drama this year.

    I was really impressed with Miley Cyrus she looked beautiful and I love red anyway!

    eh, I thought it was a pretty boring long red dress. The color was ok, but the dress was nothing special.

    what did you think about Katherine Heigl's dress? I thought her hair looked pretty and I liked the flowy bottom of the dress

    I thought overall she had a great look...still doing that old hollywood glamour thing. But everyone else wearing that exact shade of red detracts from the impact of her dress.

    so far, I think Katherine Heigl's was the best overall look. I liked Miley too.

    Heigl's & Heidi Klum's Coke dress - both RED are great - ET Lady in Green is great - all others are kind of boring or just off. Cloomey's honey's dress is beautiful on TV, but not as good by pix.

    a ha ha ha ha...that was funny...jon stewart said that during the commercial breaks they all sit around and talk about what we're wearing at home.
    What?! peach sweats, a green sweatshirt, and hat head don't make for a red carpet look?

    Tilda always makes avant-garde, interesting choices. I'd say it's a near miss.
