Below is an interview with Tricia Helfer, who plays Carla on the
upcoming season of Burn Notice,' which returns to USA July 10 (at left Helfer is pictured with "Burn Notice's" Jeffrey Donovan). Helfer is best known to TV audiences as
the various versions of the Cylon Number Six on Battlestar Galactica.'
She talks about the odd' feeling on the set when the cast was filming the June 13 mid-season finale of Battlestar,' the reactions she had when she was reading the script for the finale for the sci-fi series, which finishes its run next year, and taking on the new challenge of playing another mysterious woman on Burn Notice.'
It's the first time I'm playing human!' she said with a laugh. (By the way, here are recent interviews with "Burn Notice" creator Matt Nix and star Jeffrey Donovan .)
MR: I saw the first two episodes, and you're in them, to varying degrees, but how many episodes is Carla in for the rest of the season? TH: To be honest, I don't know yet! [A USA Network publicist confirmed that, after the first two episodes, Carla will be back in the mid-season finale, which is Episode 9 of Burn Notice's' season, and Carla will also be in some of the seven episodes that will air early next year.] I go down to Miami to film again in mid-July.
