Although the way Lil' has been doing lately I wouldn't be suprised is she slips through the cracks in the next few weeks. It already happened to Alexis this year. Who's to say that Lil' is any different than her.

I argree, Scotty. I think Lil' might just be one of those early favorites that end up leaving leaving sooner than everyone thought. Mostly because, while everyone seems to be stepping up and mixing it up every week, she's doing the same thing week after week. At this point, you can't rely on your nice vocals, you have to bring that something extra. And, to me, she doesn't.

No American Idol is gonna be really stupid and cut off one of the really good singers early because it always happens! Perfect example: Melinda Dolittle!

She was poised to win the entire competition, and she was wayyyy more talented than BOTH Blake and Jordin put together! Also another example: Jennifer Hudson, but I LOVED Fantasia and was estatic when she won.

So even though Lil' is talented, she WILL probaly go home before she is meant to. Same with Allison and some others.

There is a possibility of next week's theme being iTunes current Top 100. I am not 100% sure but that is the early speculation.

I can totally see Adam doing a little Kings of Leon "Sex on Fire" if thats the case.

To beat the press to the punch, next weeks theme will in fact be iTunes Top 100 downloads.

If it is, it's great! Though these themes might be a little vague, they're not restricting, so we cna actually see what the contestants are about musically, and there are pretty much no excuses if they do a bad job!

They'll probably try and do things that show us where they stand in the music business and what kind of record they'd make. What makes them "relevant", I guess.

I dunno why, but I have this feeling we'll be seeing Allison doing something like Kelly Clarkson or maybe Pink. She has powerful vocals, so I think she'll go for a contemporary power female, too.

But is it like top 100 itunes downloads EVER or the Top 100 this year (or month)?

I used to like Hey There Delilah. But I got kind of sick after I heard it about 5.000 times. If it was like this here in Brazil, I can only imagine how overexposed you guys must have been to the song.

Aaaaanyway, I think Pink is edgy, so it's not exactly "pop".
