    They are singing songs from members of the original Rat Pack; Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.

    I will do my weekly predictions for each contestant and hopefully I will pick a couple correct ones.

    Jazz week, really? Right after they had a Motown week earlier in the season. They are close enough. What's next week? Something outrageous? Death Metal Week? Barney week?

    yea I had to go to the website, but it is Rat Pack standards...so if Adam pull out Sinatra I'm done!
    Can I reiterate how good he looked this week! My 1st week of watching the competition and it was highly enjoyable. I didn't realize Paula was so far gone...crying bytch? Really? It wasn't even for Adam! Sexiest voice? lmao it's offical, Paula's tone deaf!

    I think Danny might be in trouble this week if he does the usual "cry me a river" Gokey routine.

    I, for one, am getting tired of his sappy songs and performances.

    I agree with Scotty. I like Danny, but I'm really tired of his "cry me a river" songs. I would love to here him do some Journey if he got the opportunity; or at least something more upbeat instead of depressing Ugggggggg!

    Thanks. It is tough picking songs for the contestants as I think only Adam is comfortable singing these types of songs.

    That being said I think Kris will do a good job taking a song and putting a twist on it.

    I have a feeling that other than Kris and Adam, the others are going to struggle.

    I actually heard that it wasn't 2 songs tonight, not enough time. Unless they cut out ALL banter and kill a few commercials, i dont see how, either.

    Yeah the only way they will be able to do it is to give the judges a night off.

    Paula's critiques alone are equal to about 15 to 16 minutes of the show.

    She keeps rambling on and rambling on about nothing. And then she prohibits Simon from giving his critiques which adds an extra 5 minutes each episode.

    Looks like you are right Todd. They will only get one song a piece as the producers decided that there was no way they were going to be able to fit all that into an hour long show.

    What sucks for us is that we will have to endure all that meaningless Seacrest banter, Paula's miserable critiques, and we'll miss out on an extra song from each contestant.

    Now they will have to stretch out the epsiode. God, save us now.

    Maru I think Vince Neil was there since the goodbye song is Carrie's cover of "Home Sweet Home" (which is genius as is and shouldn't have been covered by someone else, but I digress)
