More Danny hate here! Your scream wasn't funny, it was painful and one of the worst performances ever. Go home you smug douchebag!

Well, I don't really hate Danny, I mean, he does have a nice tone to his voice and all, but he was simply HORRIFIC last night. That shrieky, desperate, wannabe performance made Sanjaya's "Ain't no mountain high enough" sound like an angels choir or something.

And I also think Allison didn't get the credit she deserved for her performance. I mean, it was vocally very good, and she carried herself with great confidence and poise up there. I was really impressed, 'cause she showed me that isn't just another pseudo-rocker chick. Unlike 99% of other of those self-proclaimed pre pubescent "rockers", she really has it in her.

But I'm not shocked. Danny was going to be on that top 3, regardless of what he did. We all knew that from the start. I just think that's unfair considering that other contestants, like Adam and Allison, have been working hard every week to exceed expectations and earn their spots on the show, while he just gets by, as if he knows he's safe no matter what.

Yeah I thought it was pretty ironic that Daughtry was there to perform..reminded me of that night :( I'm really sad to see Allison go. She should be in the finals....it would've made for a much better competition.

Yesterday I was saying that Kris needed to go home over Danny, but then i thought about it and was like "Wow, Danny really sucked last night and Kris has steadily been getting better." So now I'm still really pissed off.

I don't care how well Danny sings next week, even he ends up being better than Adam!(which is not likely). I want him OUT OF HERE. He took Allison's rightful place in the top 3, and is gonna eventually pay(even though it wasn't technically his fault that she left)

And I bet the reason she got out was that since she did good, people thought that enough people would vote for her and they switched their votes to sympathy for Danny's horrendous performance. It sucks, but you can't change it, some people are just stupid like that ='(

to all you Danny haters out there listen up...he will be your next American Idol. it will be Danny vs.Adam in the finals, with Danny winning.

One bad performance doesn't make -or break- you in this competition. Yes, Danny's performance was bad, but fans voted on his performance in the competition as a whole. Allison had a few off nights... more than Danny.

If the public voted on the contestants’ performances from just that week, we may just have David Archuleta as our reigning Idol.

He sadly does have a good chance at winning, and I hate America for it.

Something tells me that in the long run Allison will end up doing better than Adam, Kris, and Danny combined.

Adam will release a couple of underselling CDs and then eventually turn to Broadway.

Kris will come out with a couple of Jason Mraz / John Mayer sound-a-like albums

and Danny will fall off the face of the Earth after releasing a CD that will completely bomb.

But Jesus loves him and you know he will give big props and dedications to the wifey.

As much as I love Adam and everything he does on the show, he's probably not gonna be commercially huge. Like 90% of all the Idols before him. But I do think he has a promising carreer on Broadway, which is pretty great. I mean, Constantine got nominated for a Tony, right? It's not a bad prospect at all, and I think he'd be very pleased with that.

And I still prefer Danny over Kris. About a thousand times. I don't think Kris deserves to be there at all, and, at this point, I'm hoping to see Danny and Adam in the top 2.

And, Todd, Gokeys attitude really was waaaay worse than the scream! I mean, not only was he laughing, but he also said something about having to "watch it again 'cause he didn't think it was that bad" or something like that. He pretty much implied it was GOOD. Seriously. How can anyone think that?

Since Allison is out of the picture now I would like to see the finale between Danny and Adam as well.

I would like to see it be Adam and Danny, but I'm still ticked that he got to stay over Allison. Out of Allison and Danny, Allison is the better singer overall. At least I think.

OK, maybe i DID over-react and shit on Danny when he didn't deserve it. I mean, it wasn't HIS fault that he stayed over Alison, it was the stupid people that forgot to vote for Allison lol.

Truthfully, when i first heard that last scream of Danny's, I laughed and thought it sounded awesome. But then I thought that, singing-wise and professionally, it was bad. But he has been good overall in the competition.

In the end, I think (and now kinda want) Danny and Adam in the final 2. I wanted Adam and Allison originally, but now that I think about it, Danny is better than Kris overall. But I still think Adam will end up winning. I hope he does also =D

I also believe contestants shouldn't be judged based only in their last performance. But I don't think Danny has been consistently good, either. To me, he's had about 3 great performances in the top 13. Most of the times, it was just OK. Again, I still like him better than Vanilla Kris, but I do believe Allison did better in general and deserved it more than him.

My final 3 would be Allison, Adam and Danny. Well, actually, it would be Allison, Adam and Matt, but I always knew people would end up getting sick of him.

If I have to deal with danny in the finale I hope he gets archuleta'd. Going the whole season not being in the bottom and losing. (Actually I would love that just to see his face drop)

I am really disappointed that Allison was voted off last night as she was the only one who could challenge Adam. I don't think Danny is as bad as you all say. He has a nice tone to his voice and a distinctive style. You might not like it but at least you know it's him.

Kris on the other hand is so nothing. Completely forgettable. I don't think he belongs in the top 3. If Danny goes home next...what an awful, anti-climatic finale that would be between Kris and Adam. I think I'd rather watch hockey.

I'm just curious about one thing. Every year the finalists have to sing some boring cliche song that says something about dreams and reaching for the stars and rainbows and stuff. David Cook managed to sort of pull it off last year, mainly because he got to pick from 10 songs, but can ANYONE imagine Adam doing any of those retarded songs?

I mean, either Kris or Danny could probably nail it, but I think Adam could struggle a bit. He'll have to pull a "Ring of Fire" type of thing again. Any thoughts on that?

Adam does have a remarkable falsetto, and probably could have nailed that song, but was wise to stay away from that grossly over-done and usually poorly done by the back-up band (compared to the original) song, and leave it in it's crumblin' studio vault.

Nanda, I mentioned that a while back as I'm not sure that winning this competition is in Adam's best interest. I just can't see him singing one of those "This is the first day of the rest of my over the rainbow, shoot for the heavens" songs that they always make the winner sing.

We are all saying that Adam is a lock for the finals and he should be.

Scotty, I think that, even if Adam comes to the conclusion that winning is not exactly the best carreer move, he'd at least want to make it all the way to the finals. You know, it's pretty much all the exposure he needs!

As for tanking in purpose, there are a lot of emotional issues that influence on that. I don't think anyone would be capable of deliberately doing bad in front of all those fans, in national TV, no matter how reasonable it may seem from a professional point of view.

I always end up feeling torn in the final 2 weeks or so. I never know if I really want my favorite to win. And I do believe that Adam doesn't seem like the kind of artist who'd accept being pushed to do anything he doesn't feel like doing.

So, yes, maybe winning is not the best bet for him. But I still really really want him to wiiiiin! How selfish am I? Lol

It seems to me like AI is really working with Adam though to do whatever he wants. He's taken a lot more liberties it seems to me. Maybe if Adam won, they'd work with him to make sure it was what he liked rather than them molding him. Otherwise, I agree...I can't see him doing the usual cookie cutter shit that other AI winners have had to do.
