HARVEY Weinstein -- who relaunches "Project Runway" tonight with a two-hour all-star special before the season premiere -- is using the TV platform to heavily cross-promote "Nine," his movie adaptation of the hit Broadway musical. Nicole Kidman (above) throws out the first challenge tonight to the past "Project" winners: designing a dress that can be worn on the red carpet at the film's Nov. 16 premiere in New York. And her "Nine" castmates Fergie and Kate Hudson have taped advertising spots for "Project."
Arguably Nicole Kidman is the bigger star, but I would have preferred Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz or hell, Judy Dench being the cast representative from "Nine" for this challenge!
