I need your help . . . Castaways leaving show for medical reasons

    Ok, I need your help!!!

    My boyfriend and I are having a huge debate on this one . . . he says that once a cast member goes for medical treatment for an injury that they NEVER come back. I disagree I feel that in earlier seasons that they have returned once they have gotten a medical clearance . . . however I can't specifically recall which season or cast members who left and then returned to their island.

    Please help us settle this once and for all!!!! Thanks osmuch!!

    No, if they are medically removed, they never come back. These are the medevac's:
    Michael Skupin - Australia
    Bruce Kanegai- Panama/Exile Island
    Gary-Fiji
    Jonathon Penner - Micronesia
    James Clement-Micronesia
    Joe Dowdle- Tocantins

    None of them came back.

    They can come back and be on the jury, if they did not miss any jury time: James, Micronesia.

    what was the worst medvac of them all? like worst in that you didnt want to see them go?

    i remember mike from Australia seemed like such a good cool guy, woulda been a great character and left pretty early.

    jon penner from micronesia (fans v favs) seemed cool, too. never saw his original season. i liked that his voice sounded like alan alda for some reason. very calming.

    James might've had a chance of final 3 in Micronesia if he would've been able to stay in the game...

    Jon Penner was the one that I was upset to see go. One of those that could have won. Plus, I liked him as a player...

    I liked Bruce, but I don't think he had any chance of winning. Jonathan Penner is one of my favorite Survivors and would be my pick as who I didn't want to see go. Awhile back I got home from work (swing shift) and was flipping through the movie channels and I saw him in some movie with Cameron Diaz. They were eating dinner and plotting to kill someone. Didn't watch much of it, it was just kinda random. Anyway, Skupin was a character for sure and his med evac totally sucked. His would be my vote for worst injury wise....
