Ok, I'm glad someone posted Jeff's blog and this stuff, bc I needed to talk about something that Jeff said in his blog. This was when he was talking about 16 ppl/18/20 ppl in the competition and adressing double eliminations to get the numbers down:

"For the record, I have always hated the “win or lose, you must vote someone out” twist, but it’s existence comes from necessity...
I am happy to say that we have since figured out a better way to do double eliminations. So should we ever need to vote out two people in one episode it will not be a “win or lose both tribes going to tribal council” scenario."

So in Season20 (or future seasons of the show PLLLEEEAAAASSSSEEEE!!!) there is going to be a double elim or two? Or did they figure it out after season 20? Cuz that would be great...



And yeah, there def should've been a double/triple elimination. If producers didn't want Galu to lose two members, then they should've counted Russell leaving as Galu's elimination and Foa Foa should've still had to eliminate someone.
Jeff said last night "because Russell had to leave and because no one officially won reward..." WTF??? The reward was frickin pizza! The reward had nothing to do with immunity, so why did no one winning the reward have something to do with no one being voted out!?!?!?! SUUUUPER pissed off about that.

YES I was buggin out when Jeff explained the higher number seasons! I'm thinking they figured out double eliminations for s20, considering they filmed them back to back.

Yea Kr8zy - these fuckers forget THEY CAN DRINK RAIN WATER. That water out there is no as polluted as they think...they coudl just open their friggin mouths and be alright! On top of that, the rain water is probably cleaner than any water they could gather (before boiling).

Deep in the comments, many people pointed out how earlier survivors used to give when water wells and rice and now all it sees to be is food challenges. I agree with that...people need the basics to survive and the number of medical evacs has more than doubled or tripled since they stopped.

Me (yesterday): Russ, I felt your pain last night when you had to be evacced but you are right to appeciate the fact you finally got to play the game along with those of us who truly apply for years and years. I'm curious tho, do you think you started to believ...e the "chief" hype, let it go to your head, overwork in order to "justify you were in charge" and that led to your dehydration? Your poor decisions about the tarp and the way you treated Shambo, including talking behind her back to the rest of the tribe made me think you were about to get the boot if you weren't taken out by medical. No. I had to be strong because my tribe was stong. Had I played like Mick on Foa Foa, they would have voted me out early. Also, I didn't want to be chief, I was voted chief, so there was no need to justify the position. I tried to give it away. No one wanted it. Why? Because it's a BAD POSITION to be in. Lastly, I know it seemed surprising, but remember, there is alot about the game you don't see.

Me: I agree, NO one wanted to be the chief and I was pissed that you were elected chief, it was like we could see all your strategy go out the window when that happened. Are you saying the women (the same women you picked comfort for) are strong, because they sure looked like loss sheep when they thought it was time from tribal? Your team ate way more ... Read Morethan Foa Foa and you guys were dominating, so why wouldn't your team already be stronger by default? But it did appear that you were justifying your position by doing everything at camp in the rain why everyone just sat and talked about it behind your back. Not shaking Dave's hand seemed kinda rude too, but after all that rain I'd be mad at some of my tribemates too lol. I completely get it when you say we don't see everything, but you have definitely given me new-found respect for the game (and you as well) and I HOPE to see you again next season (I hope you are in All Stars cuz you deserve it!)

I wouldn't. I would pay for a live feed on any season but an All-Star one. Rumor has it that Russell Hantz is cast for S-20, but we all know that he most likely will be the first boot. What's the point? Everyone will already know the personalities, strategies, strengths, weaknesses, etc. of the other players. How is that fun to watch? Plus, it takes away our chances of possibly making the cut for our own adventure (although the odds are like winning the fucking lottery). I am a die hard fan and am not looking forward to another All-Star snoozer. On another note, I felt that Jeff handled the whole situation beautifully. His blog is great, especially this last one. A true class act....

Nutters, S20 is being filmed now or has already been filmed. Nobody has seen Russell H in action. It's the same thing that happened with Amanda. I think he will last awhile on All-Stars.

S20 is already filmed, they filmed it back to back with this season. And from the spoilers I've read, it might be pretty damned interesting.

Why are u so down on All Stars Nutters? I know not everyone loved the last All Stars but Fans vs Faves was pretty damned good towards the end. Also, there's been talk about having more recent ppl back for s20, like Micronesia, Gabon, and Tocinchines (I spell it like it sounds lol). All I want to see is Coach and Evil Russell together, I dream of seeing that combo come to fruition

As for the All-Stars snub, I just can't stand it. I don't want to watch a season with the same people and the same tactics. Plus, they've had their chance. New peeps to play should be the way. I mean, how many winners are they bringing back for ANOTHER shot at the $$$? And do you think the other All-Stars are gonna let them get anywhere knowing that they've already won? That's no fun and way too predictable. I think a special reunion show with past contestants would be fun as hell. But a whole season? I think not....

Reading my spoilers on s20, I can see why u feel that way Nutters. My rule of thumb is 2 shots - one the season you got booted and the last chance is an All Star. Some of these fuckers are going on what 3 times? 4 times? (original season, 1st all star, fans vs faves, s20)

BUT I do think some people that were evacced in certain circumstances get another chance. Predator deserves another chance IMO. Throwing in 10 newer people with the same old All Stars is NOT cool.

Nutter Butters used to be one of my fave snacks after budding up, hahahaha! Anyway, that is totally what I'm talking about. Some of these fuckers are coming back for a 4th time. Lame. I almost don't wanna watch it, but I probably will 'cuz I'm a freak fan. But I still won't be happy. Although Micronesia was a good season, I was not happy about bringing back the Faves. Stupid. ok so there isn't a person who has been on 4 times, but they are looking at several ppl that have been on their season, All Stars AND Fans Vs Faves, so if they are on s20 it will be 3 times on Survivor, which is ridiculous!

if the 10 faves from Micronesia return, it will be their 3RD attempt. And from what I have read, they could very much happen. and a number of that 10 have actually WON a season. In fact if u read the list of possible contestants that Colby had posted, more than half the faves from Micronesia are on it, yet the list separated them by original season which left only one fave to be listed as a contestant from Micronesia.

10 of them will have their 3rd attempt in s20 and s20 may contain FIVE winners. Why The Face?

Don't you think it's to their disadvantage to be on a 3rd or 4th time? I think they would be a huge target. Someone like Parvarti should be voted off ASAP, if they are smart.

It's all dumb. Of course it's to their disadvantage. The winners are gonna be picked off and it's gonna be super predictable. And the Fairplay quitting thing was staged in my opinion. His lady was preggo and he had no intention of playing the game. Then CBS says, hey Jon, come back for the 3 days, we'll pay you, and then you can quit and get back to your family. Jon gets the cash, a quick 15 mins for the 90th time and Survivor gets ratings. It all seemed pretty shady to me.

I would totally represent, but I believe that production chooses what you can wear on the show. You bring what you want, but they decide for you. Notice how in Tocantins everyone matched? Jalapao wore red and Timbira wore black....

Nutters, it's like that for Samoa too. Galu is all Purple and Foa 2x is all yellow colored. I hate that they do that now.
