OH-- did Jeff mess up last night?!

He didn't say 'If anyone has the immunity idol...' like he usually does.

I can't imagine they did that on purpose,, cause everytime he says it it creates drama. And even if he says it and they dont want it later they can edit it out.

I thought for a second maybe that the idol only applied to pre-merge and Russ was gonna be fucked,, but it seemed like Jeff just forgot to say it

OH yea I noticed that. Bc when Russ stood up I was like wait, isn't that the wrong time? Jeff didn't ask...

I'm watching some of the ponderosa video from CBS.com and Erik is STILL bitter.

Have they ever done duel immunity before? Do we think they'll do it again next week while numbers are still big? I bet its a day-of producer's decision based on who they want to stick around, give them more of a shot at it

Okay, to start from the beginning:
Merge was early (12 is the earliest they've ever done it) and THANK GOD for some actual scheming and gameplay! Holy cow, the season finally picked up!

I hate how Shambo was telling Russ that they can't vote out Erik or Laura, bc they run the camp and whatever they say, goes. Vote them out! Come on! If someone is leading the merged tribe, vote them out. Thank god they wanted to try and vote out both of them (Laura first, then Erik).

Jeff hasn't said anything about the "If someone has the Hidden Immunity Idol, now is the time to play it" in any of the episodes this season. I think it was suppose to be a surprise this season? Idk. But I know when Russ found the idol (and prob Erik) it said to play it after the vote, before they're read.

(BTdubs, how great is it that both HII's are gone now. But a new one will prob come back.)

Dave has been growing on me all season. Ever since the weird no-Jeff-Probst bocce ball challenge.

I liked Erik all of the season.. up until last night. He became a major ass. Especially at Tribal Council.

It is a final 3, 9 person jury, but, a tie is still possible (3-3-3 or 4-4-1)

Dual immunity has been done MANY times before:
All-Stars: Kathy and Rob M. 1st merge Immunity Challenge.
Vanuatu: John K and Ami at 3rd tribal council
Guatemala: Rafe and Gary at 6th Tribal Council
Fiji: 5 person immunity (Boo, Cassandra, Earl, Yau-Man, Edgardo), 1st merge Immunity Challenge (AND LAMEST TWIST EVER!!!)

But AllStars is the most similar to what happened last night. A guy and a girl both won bc of separate gender challenges.

Hey, this is Survivor. And you never know what kinda shit they're gonna pull. They just might have a final 2 with a 10 person jury. They had an 8 person jury in Micronesia, so fuck it. And Dave Ball is definitely my favorite this season. He is fuckin' high-larry-us. "Did you see Erik? He got clothes-lined. By a clothes-line." I love it. Fave girl: Natalie. Bitch got it goin' on. Everyone tried to tell me she'd go nowhere and was boring. What? I knew she'd pull through when it counted most. You know she's just chillin' and lettin' Russell do all the dirty work. Cute, sexy and smart as hell southern bell is what she is. I'm with ya Peebz. I love being a Survivor nerd....

Micronesia was only a 8 person jury/final2 because of James. If James wasn't MedEvac'd, there would have been a final 3, 7 person jury. But, he got taken out too late in the game and they didn't give the castaways a break that late in the game.

And I agree with you about Natalie. She's definitely smarter than she seems. I think she might run away with this season. Lay low, and then pull out power moves when needed. That's what you do in this game...

And I don't care if I'm a Survivor Nerd. Thats what I am, thats how I do!

I think we have to watch out for some of the quiet ones. They will be the ones going to the final 2 or 3.

Not necessarily, but you never know. Dave is my bet, has been since the beginning. But I think that Nat is a contender and I've got a feeling about Brett too.

I dunno why they would rather do a 9 person jury and F3 rather than a double or triple elimination and a 7 person jury! You could eliminate last place in a reward challenge AND make 2 people be voted off or 1 from each tribe pre-merge when there's 20.

It's like if it aint broken dont fix it. Classic Survivor was F2 and all this F3 stuff has been more recent seasons. And if there can still be a tie with 9 and the votes are in, it's not like they will re-vote in the case of a tie....does this mean a potential fire starting challenge during a live finale? or perhaps a "let's kick out the person with the lowest number of votes AND their votes" to get down to a F2 and eliminate the likelihood of a tie?

Ain't that the truth! Triple elimination would be fuckin' badical....
